Karan Johar Breaks Down And Reveals The ONLY GIRL Who Has Ever Made Him Cry
Karan Johar might be a director and producer, but he isn't like other directors and producers in the industry. Almost a superstar like his high-profile actor friends, Karan Johar's life is heavily scrutinised by the media, because he is more than just another man. A unique personality in Bollywood, KJo has created a brand of his own. Hence, his relationships, family, and love life are an object of great interest to the public.
Here, we speak in particular, of his decision to become a father. Going public on a TV show called Famously Filmfare, about how he came around to making that decision, and all the soul-searching that went into it, he really showed a different side to his personality: "A day after my 40th birthday, I just felt I need to be a father. I knew I needed to be emotionally ready. So I went into therapy sessions and psychology discussions about what it is to be a father, what it is to raise a child without a mother and also at a certain age in your life. I was asked if the children are my backup plan for not having a love relationship in your life. I really had to go into my internal self to ask if that's true and the answer was no."
After baring his soul about feeling heartbroken on not finding love, and feeling defeated by age, Johar admitted that having children filled his heart with an indescribable overflow of emotions.
In fact, he added that his baby daughter Roohi was the only girl to make him cry like that: "When I held them for the first time, I don't think I can describe the feeling. I cannot explain what I felt. I just sat in the chair and held my daughter first, as she is a little more vulnerable, medically. I didn't even realize there were tears rolling down my face. That feeling cannot be replaced by any other emotion."
Here's wishing Karan a beautiful life ahead with his lovely babies, Yash and Roohi!
